Aquarion EVOL: The EVOL Was A Lie!

Warning spoilers and rants ahead!

I'm not really one to complain about plot twists and what not but the things that I have read and heard coming out of the characters of Aquarion EVOL is just plain..STUPID!

I know there are some who thought the twist was JUST PLAIN GENIUS and that Kawamori "had this planned out all along" but whatever because I'm just pretty much pissed off at how the series went halfway and how everything ended. What pissed me off the most is how they keep referring to Amata as Apppollonius when they clearly stated in the show that he was simply a reincarnation of Pollon, Appollonius's winged dog that loved silvie so much.

I mean come on! If you're going to drop such a bomb on us at least be consistent about it!

Why show Amata and Kagura memories of 24,000 ago with Appollonius and Celiane when he's just the freakin winged dog? Shouldn't he have flashbacks of being with Celiane as a DOG or a chew toy or something?

And since Silvia has fallen in love with Apollo (who was Pollon) 12,000 years ago doesn't make their promise a BIG fat lie and Silvia a lying cheating bitch (kuso ona indeed)?

Also, the show clearly showed that Amata and Kagura are but one person who were separated by Mikage so I really don't understand why Kagura kept insisting that he and "kuso onna" are the ones fated and Amata doesn't stand a chance against "fate". If they are just one person then shouldn't they BOTH be fated for her?

I do get that they each of them (Amata and Kagura) symbolized the love of the "past" and the "present" but still, I call it bullshit!

I do respect that other people love how everything turned out but being a fan of the first Aquarion I just can't stomach it and before you say that I should have watched it 'till the end..I DID and I was as confused as ever with all the references and flashbacks the show

All I keep hearing from Mikono's mouth was blah blah blah blah connet blah blah blah blah Amata blah blah blah blah blah blah!

Blah blah blah blah blah blah connect

I was also a bit disappointed about how Zessica turned out halfway in the series, I just expected too much from her and I was sad that she became such a spineless weakling :(

The thing thet kept me going was the awesome music the show had. Gabriela Robin is truly awesome!

Again I do love Aquarion which was why I was really pumped up for this show but now I felt cheated and betrayed. Maybe the writers wanted us to feel how Toma felt when he was betrayed by Appollonius because that is how I really feel right now.

What I loved about most about Aquarion is that it symbolized love that spanned for thousands (or even millions) of years and when they gave us that plot twist everything that it stood for was shattered for me.

Sure in a way it still is love that spanned for thousands of years but not of the two persons who actually made the promise to each other but of their beloved dog.

So if you watched Aquarion EVOL and DIDN'T watch the first Aquarion then you're missing a LOT so watch the first one now and let us rage together!

Katanagatari An Awesome Journey Until The End

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE *SPOILER ALERT*

It has been a great journey. T___T

The the ending just broke my heart, I really liked the Togame and Shichika pairing but as the anime explained it Togame HAD to die which is something I really don’t understand. The whole moment they had before Togame’s death was really tear jerking but it was confusing and endearing at the same time.

Togame explained what she has done and that if she didn’t die she would’ve been forced to kill Shichika instead because the truth is Togame really haven’t forgiven the Shichika’s father for killing his father and everything was her plot for revenge.

Everything was calculated and that her feelings and emotions were just mere pawns for her plans. That being said, Shichika still loves her and he even said that he would' have given his life for her (this really started the whole water works for me).

I specifically cried and felt all warm and fuzzy inside by Togame’s final words.

After that Shichika went berserk on the Shogun and killed of his guards that wielded the 12 swords that they have collected. This was a really action packed and thrilling scene, it was awesome to see the true form of the Kyoto-ryu. The guards as well as the swords were no match for him and it seems that the only reason why Shichika had any difficulty defeating the sword wielders from before was the fact that Togame had instructed her to protect herself and NOT break the swords.

I also liked the fight scene he had with Emonzaemon but I was a little disappointed with it because in the end I wasn’t really sure if Shichika won because of his skills or simply because that was the road that Emonzaemon chose.

I don’t actually want to talk about the end after the fights because NTR girl Princess Hitei was in it. :( Yes, I’m not a fan of her because my loyalty is with Togame.

Actually, the ending was ok but I still had some questions that the anime never answered like,

what was the origin of the Maniwa corps?

what’s the deal with Togame’s eyes?

Emonzaemon’s past?

Togame’s past?

Hitei’s past?

The deal with rewriting history?

These things are still a bit blurry to me but all in all it was really a great adventure and if you still haven’t watched it…YOU SHOULD! This anime is good but if you’re not fan of the whole more talk less action kind of animes then you may be turned off with it a bit but you should still totally watch it.

There may be a whole lot of conversation in this anime but they were really interesting and funny. This is certainly a journey that you don’t want to miss. :)

CHHERRRRRIIIOOOOOO~!
